Zodiac MX8 and AX10 Suction Cleaners use gears to guide the cleaner around the pool to provide better coverage than traditional suction cleaners. These gears wear over time and require replacement.
If you are noticing your Zodiac MX8, AX10 or MX6 is moving slowing, going in circles or is constantly loosing its tracks it is time for repair. A repair is usually required after 2-3 years but this will depend upon the speed that the AX10 or MX8 has been set.
We recommend using a MX Flow Regulator if your cleaner does not already have one. This will regulate the speed and make your MX8 Pool Cleaner last longer.
